PHP Developer / Software Engineer (1-2 Years Experience) - 2 Positions
If you are highly resourceful and innovative developer with extensive experience and creativity in the layout, design and coding of websites specifically in PHP format, you may be the one we are looking for. Additionally, we require someone who possess good understanding of web application development using other programming language as well with MySQL Server databases knowledge.
Qualifications
- Candidates must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, Professional Degree, Computer Science/Information Technology, Engineering (Computer/Telecommunication) or equivalent.
- Creative, self-motivated, and dedicated with strong teamwork abilities, capable of working independently with minimal supervision.
- At least 1-2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Able to do enhancement, maintenance and support.
- Experience with Laravel is a must as it serves as our back end system’s core language.
- Preferably candidates who have basic scoping/requirement gathering skills and system testing.
- Required Skills: HTML, CSS (Bootstrap), Javascript, PHP (Laravel) - Compulsory, mySQL.
- Understanding of version control systems, such as Git.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Familiarity with Cloud Environment, PPrISA and DDMS is a plus on this position.
Role and Responsibilities:
- Designing and developing web applications using the Laravel PHP framework.
- Collaborating with the project team to gather and analyze requirements.
- Translating requirements into technical specifications and implementing them using Laravel.
- Writing clean, modular, and maintainable code in accordance with established coding standards.
- Building efficient, scalable, and secure web applications that meet project requirements.
- Integrating third-party APIs and services into Laravel applications.
- Developing and maintaining database structures and queries using MySQL or other relational databases.
- Implementing front-end designs and UI/UX enhancements using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Conducting thorough testing and debugging of applications to ensure high-quality deliverables.
- Performing code reviews and providing constructive feedback to team members.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including designers and other developers, to ensure seamless integration of front-end and back-end components.
- Keeping up to date with industry trends and best practices in Laravel development.
- Troubleshooting and resolving application defects and performance issues.
- Documenting technical specifications, project details, and development processes.
- Writing highly maintainable, “clean”, well-designed, reusable, and efficient code.
- Knowledge of data exchange languages (XML and JSON)
Other Responsibilities
- Perform a mix of maintenance, enhancements, and new system development if required.
- Document features, technical specifications & infrastructure responsibilities
- Work cross-functionally to convert business needs into technical specifications
Immediate starter will be priority.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,300.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
