About the Role
We’re looking for a People Operations & Business Partner to support our growing regional team across Southeast Asia. Based in Malaysia, this role will work closely with our regional leaders and local teams to strengthen core people operations, enhance employee experience, and enable our business functions through thoughtful, high-impact HR support. You will play a key role across talent acquisition, HR operations, and stakeholder engagement, acting as both a builder and a partner as we scale.
Key Responsibilities
People Operations
- Manage core HR processes across multiple markets (e.g., onboarding, performance review, offboarding, employee records)
- Manage monthly payroll preparation and processing in coordination with Finance, ensuring accuracy and timeliness across assigned countries; maintain payroll records and statutory compliance
- Oversee employee lifecycle documentation and ensure regional compliance with labor laws, working with legal/external advisors as needed
Talent Acquisition
- Partner with hiring managers on full-cycle recruitment across the region
- Drive hiring processes: sourcing, interviewing, candidate experience, offer management
- Work with the Head of HRBP on optimizing our hiring playbook and metrics
- Contribute to employer branding and candidate pipeline strategies
Business Partnering & Culture
- Act as an HR business partner to functional leaders across markets, supporting team structure, performance, and engagement
- Support the rollout and scaling of people programs across markets, including performance reviews, feedback loops, onboarding experience, and documentation refreshes.
- Be an advocate for employee feedback, surfacing insights to improve retention, communication, and team health
Who You Are
- 4–7 years of experience in HR, ideally in regional roles or fast-growing companies
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin is required to ensure effective communication with regional stakeholders
- Hands-on experience in both HR operations and recruitment
- Familiar with payroll processes and labor laws in at least one or more Southeast Asia markets
- Strong communicator, high ownership, practical mindset, and thrives in ambiguity

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
