Job Description :
- Supervise taxi queue operations to ensure smooth passenger flow and efficient driver dispatch.
- Manage and coordinate the activities of marshals, drivers, and other operational staff at designated working positions.
- Assist in resolving issues such as disputes between passengers and drivers, vehicle breakdowns, or other operational disruptions.
- Track the performance of staff and drivers providing feedback and recommendations for improvement to the operations manager.
- Assists in training new marshals and drivers on queue management procedures, customer service, and safety standards.
- Allocate staff and resources effectively to meet operational demand during peak and off-peak hours.
- Ensure the safety of the passengers, drivers, and staff by maintaining a secure and orderly environment at workstations.
- Serve as the communication link between operation staff, drivers, and management relaying important updates and instructions.
- Assisting in mediating disputes or conflicts among staff, resolving issues promptly and professionally.
- Conduct routine checks on vehicles documents, ensure compliance with standards.
- Act as the first point of contact during emergencies, coordinating with relevant authorities and ensuring the situation is managed effectively.
- Record and report operational data, including passenger volume, taxi dispatch times, and incidents, to the operations manager.
- Ensure that all equipment and infrastructure, such as signage and barriers, are in good condition and functional.
- Collect feedback from passengers and drivers to identify areas of service improvement.
- Propose improvements to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
- To ensure that taxi fare zones and rates are consistently updated, especially with the introduction of new locations such as hotels and commercial areas
- Effectively collaborate with the IT and tech teams in system improvements and enhancement.
- Assisting in interviewing candidates
- Manage a report on blocked drivers.
Requirements:
Education & Experience:
* Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Transportation Management, Logistics, or a related field.
* Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in operations, transportation, or similar supervisory roles, especially in airport taxi and limo background.
Skills & Competencies:
* Strong leadership and team coordination abilities, especially in field operations.
* Excellent problem-solving and conflict resolution skills.
* Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Ability to manage time and resources efficiently, especially during peak operational hours.
* Competence in handling emergencies and liaising with relevant authorities.
* High level of attention to detail for tasks such as checking vehicle documentation and ensuring safety compliance.
* Basic understanding of customer service and safety standards.
* Able to train, guide, and evaluate team performance.
Technical Proficiency:
* Comfortable working with operational systems and tools.
* Ability to collaborate with IT and tech teams for system enhancements.
* Basic reporting skills, with the ability to record and analyze operational data.
Other Requirements:
* Willingness to work in outdoor environments and rotational shifts, including weekends or holidays.
* Knowledge of taxi fare zones, dispatch processes, and transportation regulations is an advantage.
* Physically fit and alert, capable of handling fast-paced, high-pressure environments.
