Key Tasks and Workflow:
- 1. Monitoring:The supervisor continuously monitors live and recorded video feeds from the CCTV system, looking for any unusual or suspicious activity.
- 2. Incident Detection:Upon identifying a potential security threat, the supervisor assesses the situation and determines the appropriate course of action.
- 3. Incident Response:The supervisor alerts the relevant personnel, such as security guards, emergency services, or other designated staff, to respond to the incident.
- 4. System Management:The supervisor ensures that the CCTV system is functioning correctly, including cameras, recording devices, and other related equipment.
- 5. Record Keeping:The supervisor maintains accurate records of all recorded footage, incidents, and any actions taken in response to security breaches.
- 6. Maintenance and Troubleshooting:The supervisor may be responsible for basic maintenance tasks, such as cleaning cameras or troubleshooting minor issues, or coordinating with maintenance teams for more complex problems.
- 7. Reporting:The supervisor provides regular reports on system performance, incidents, and any other relevant information to higher management.
- 8. Compliance:The supervisor ensures that the CCTV system is used in accordance with established policies and procedures, as well as relevant legal regulations.
