Job Description
CMX is a fast-growing HR and recruitment firm based in Malaysia, supporting Australian-based businesses with local offshore talent. We are now seeking a hands-on, proactive Office Manager to help support our Kuala Lumpur operations.
This is a unique role that combines office management, recruitment, and HR support for a BPO-style environment. You will report directly to our Australia-based HR Manager and be the key support person for a growing team of Malaysian employees working with Australian clients.
Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day office operations and supplies
- Run errands and provide general team support as needed
- Lead local recruitment: sourcing, screening, interviewing and reference checking
- Assist with onboarding and HR-related meetings as required
- Assist in developing and refining HR processes
- Support performance discussions and internal people matters in line with local Employment Laws
- Ensure smooth communication between the local team and Australian stakeholders
Requirements
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in office management, recruitment or HR
- Bachelors Degree in Business, Human Resources or similar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Mandarin or Cantonese fluency is highly desirable
- Able to work independently and manage competing priorities
- Strong understanding of Malaysian HR & Employment Law practices is required
- Positive, professional and team-oriented mindset
