Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy from accredited program
- At least 1 year working experience in paediatric setting
- Passionate and have patience in treating paediatric case
- Strong communication and interpersonal skill to work effectively with patients, families and other healthcare
- Organised and detail-oriented
Responsibilities
Assessment and Evaluation:
i) Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' physical, emotional, and functional abilities.
ii) Identify specific goals and objectives based on assessment findings.
Treatment Planning and Implementation:
i) Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address clients' unique needs and goals.
ii) Utilize a variety of therapeutic techniques, exercises, and interventions to improve clients' functional abilities.
iii) Monitor and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure progress.
Client Education:
i) Educate clients and their families on adaptive techniques, equipment, and strategies to promote independence.
ii) Provide guidance on home exercises and activities to enhance therapy outcomes.
Collaboration and Documentation:
i) Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as physicians, nurses, and rehabilitation specialists, to coordinate care.
ii) Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records and progress notes.
Crisis Intervention:
i) Address any crisis situations or emotional challenges that may arise during therapy sessions.
Compliance and Ethics:
i) Adhere to ethical and professional standards, ensuring client confidentiality and informed consent.
