Job Purpose
Maximizing yield, preservation and enhancement of overall asset performance through the optimization of cost and resources in compliance with safety, quality and statutory requirements within the framework of standard operating procedures and key performance standards to ensure customer’s comfort and satisfaction. It is critical for the plant to supply on-specification chilled water and meeting all customers cooling load demand.
Main Accountabilities
- Responsible and accountable for CBM Program for all Plant equipment, chilled water pipe, customer equipment and auxiliary equipment. Organize, supervise and execute maintenance activities to achieve better maintainability, reliability, and availability of equipment.
- Executing troubleshoot and reinstate equipment breakdown. Assist Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Critical Spare Analysis, Bad Actor Management exercise whenever required.
- Involve in project punch list, final documentation, defect list and all technical related issues such as designs, PTS compliance, records etc.
- Provide supervision to contractor, supervision, guidance, knowledge sharing and coaching to pear and trainee.
- Responsible on tools and equipment in good order, tidiness of workshop and workplace.
- As and when required and deemed by management to support the Group long-term plan and growth strategy, staff may be required to plan, perform, execute and complete tasks related to Operation, Maintenance, Project, HSSE, General Building Maintenance.
- Enforce The Group MCF and Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) rules and regulations. Cooperate with superiors, pears and other departments/sections.
Qualification
Certificate or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering.
Experience
• At least five (5) years working experience in related field, preferably from plant or large facility environment.
• Experienced in executing maintenance activities for Mechanical Rotating, Gas Turbine Generators, Chillers, Cooling Towers, Centrifugal Pumps, Ventilation System, Emergency Diesel Generators.
• Working experienced in large Steam Absorption Chillers, Direct Fired Chiller and Electrical Chillers (>500RT).
• Familiar with Microsoft Office - Basic level • Able to interpret Process and Instrument Diagram (P&ID).
• Organizing maintenance activities. Minimize unplanned shutdowns.
• Specific competency is added advantages – Boiler Driver Competency, Internal Combustion Engine Driver Competency, Vibration certification, Welding and Non-Destructive Test certification
