ACE Education is seeking a dedicated and experienced MUET Tutor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in teaching MUET (Malaysian University English Test) and a passion for helping students achieve their academic goals.
You will be responsible for preparing and delivering engaging MUET lessons tailored to the needs of individual students or small groups, either at our education center, online, or at students' homes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct MUET Classes: Deliver high-quality MUET lessons that prepare students for all components of the exam (Listening, Speaking, Reading, Writing).
- Lesson Planning: Develop lesson plans that are tailored to the student's level and progress.
- Assessment & Feedback: Monitor student progress, provide regular feedback, and adjust teaching strategies to improve outcomes.
- Flexible Teaching Modes: Be available for teaching in-person at our center, online via video conferencing platforms, or at students’ homes.
- Student Engagement: Foster a positive and interactive learning environment that motivates students to excel.
Requirements:
- Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field. A teaching qualification is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience teaching MUET. Experience with both online and in-person tutoring is highly desirable.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using online teaching tools and platforms for virtual classes.
- Availability: Flexible to work on weekdays and weekends based on students’ schedules.
- Transportation: For home tuition, the tutor should have their transportation to travel to students' locations.
