About Our Client:
Our client has been a leader in the premium gift industry for 40 years, specializing in high-quality gifts for corporate clients. Their mission is to enhance corporate image and customer relationships. They partner with over 1,000 manufacturers, primarily in the Greater China region, offering more than 10,000 gifts to over 5,000 clients in Hong Kong. Their dedicated team provides tailored advice to ensure their products align with client goals. Quality is paramount; they monitor every production stage to guarantee that all merchandise meets our high standards before delivery.
Job Scope:
1. Product Sourcing
- Identify and source high-quality wood and corporate souvenir products from Malaysia and other Southeast Asian countries.
- Establish and maintain relationships with suppliers to ensure a reliable supply chain.
2. Production Oversight
- Monitor and follow up on all production processes to ensure compliance with quality standards.
- Conduct actual factory inspections to verify production quality and adherence to timelines.
3. Documentation Management
- Prepare and maintain all necessary documentation related to production and sales.
- Ensure that all records are accurate and up to date to facilitate smooth operations.
4. Sales and Market Development
- Identify and generate new sales opportunities in local and Southeast Asian markets.
- Assist in developing strategies to enhance market presence and drive sales growth.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Preferably with 1-2 years’ experience in merchandising, sourcing, or supply chain management, preferably in wood products.
- Fresh graduates with a background in Merchandising studies are welcome to apply.
- Strong understanding of production processes and quality control.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Proficient in reading and writing in Chinese is a must. Preferably Cantonese speaker.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with documentation software
