Key Responsibilities
1. Equipment Maintenance
- Troubleshoot and resolve mechanical and electrical equipment issues.
- Optimize machinery performance and ensure long-term reliability.
2. Team Leadership
- Lead, coach, and develop the maintenance team.
- Assign daily tasks and manage maintenance work schedules.
3. Safety & Compliance
- Ensure all activities comply with safety, health, and environmental regulations.
- Enforce Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures and other safety protocols.
4. Preventive Maintenance
- Develop and continuously improve preventive maintenance plans.
- Monitor spare parts inventory and ensure critical components are available.
5. Continuous Improvement
- Identify and implement new maintenance techniques, tools, and technologies.
- Support efficiency and cost-reduction initiatives across operations.
6. Administration
- Complete and close maintenance work orders in SAP with accurate and insightful notes.
- Track and report maintenance expenses, ensuring operations remain within budget.
7. Communication
- Coordinate effectively with internal departments and external service providers.
- Provide regular updates and reports to the Engineering or Maintenance Manager.
8. Emergency Support
- Provide prompt support during equipment breakdowns or urgent maintenance needs.
- Participate in on-call rotations or extended shifts as required.
Job Requirements
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Diploma in the same fields: Minimum 8 years of relevant experience.
Skills & Competencies
- Leadership & Team Management: Strong ability to lead, motivate, and guide teams.
- Technical Expertise: Hands-on experience with industrial equipment including pumps, valves, piping, conveyors, and gear systems.
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Communication: Proficient in English; additional languages are an asset.
- System Proficiency: Familiarity with SAP or other CMMS systems is preferred.
- Flexibility: Willing to work extended hours or respond to emergency calls when needed.
- Organization: Strong time management and multitasking abilities.
- Team Player: Collaborative and maintains effective working relationships across departments.
- Safety-Conscious: Solid knowledge of workplace safety regulations and procedures.

Pay: RM6,000.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
