- Examine contract documents, relevant authority and municipal council requirements, as well as the contractor’s work program.
- Monitor and track construction progress, on-site resource allocation, and overall construction activities to ensure the contractor’s obligations are fulfilled in accordance with the contract.
- Identify and report any site issues or discrepancies, including conflicts in instructions, drawing/specification inconsistencies, additional instructions or drawings needed, variation works, authority inspection outcomes, and defective materials or workmanship.
- Provide recommendations to the Architect/Engineer regarding disputes, technical challenges, or necessary corrective actions.
- Attend all site meetings and prepare reports; chair meetings in the absence of the Architect/Engineer.
- Confirm all verbal instructions issued to contractors in writing and ensure the Architect/Engineer is updated for formal issuance of instructions.
- Liaise and coordinate with other disciplines including consultants, local authorities, and representatives from other trades or services.

- Malaysian Special Skills Certificate (Preferred)
Experience:
- Mechanical engineering: 2 years (Preferred)
- Electrical engineering: 2 years (Preferred)
