Job Responsibilities
- Present marine operations matters to Top Management to support SMS improvements and ensure compliance.
- Assist in scheduling and conducting shipboard Sire Inspection / Audits and follow up on non-conformities.
- Support HSE team and vessel personnel with risk assessments and safety compliance.
- Ensure fleet compliance with safety regulations, environmental restrictions, and regional guidelines.
- Coordinate with Technical, Crewing, Commercial, and Finance departments to resolve operational issues.
- Serve on the Emergency Management Team and participate in Management Review and Incident Investigation.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of seafaring experience on oil / chemicals tankers at least 2.5 years in a ship board senior management role.
- Strong knowledge of ISM Code, SOLAS, ISPS, OCIMF, SIRE and MARPOLE regulations.
- Excellent marine safety and operational management skills.
- Good communication with both shipboard and shore teams.
Qualification
- Certified Senior Deck Officer with Class 1 or Class 2 Certificate of Competency (COC) is a compulsory
