Manager – Marketing & Communication supports the HOO in managing the overall reputation and image of Hong Leong Islamic Bank (HLISB). He/she will assist in managing initiatives that leverage on the Group’s Marketing & Communication overall strategies and activities, to sustain and elevate the positive image of HLISB with its internal audience, as well as its external prospects and customers.
In doing so, he/she will assist in developing, managing and maintaining strategic initiatives that are within the ambit of the department. Amongst the tasks that he/she is expected to assist in are:
- Responsible for all media relations activities, crisis communications, and some special events coordination with a focus on new product and services launches and local market launches;
- Study the objectives, promotional policies and needs of organizations to plan communication (internal & external constituencies) & CSR strategies that will influence public opinion or promote ideas, products and services;
- Confer with internal stakeholders to identify trends and key group interests and concerns or to provide advice on business decisions;
- Manage key messaging consistency with the Group Marketing & Communications team;
- Manage public/customer communications via Branches and other Delivery Channels;
- Manage relationships with a variety of media including financial, business, local, and vertical and across media types including digital, press and other platforms;
- Manage PR/Publicity activities for HLISB;
- Manage Social Media activities for HLISB;
- Support product launches, marketing campaigns and partner programs.
