Job Purpose:
Reporting to the Branch Manager, the Boarding Officer is part of a team responsible for ensuring all operational matters Are In Good Order And To Satisfy/serve Principal Enquiries accordingly.
This will involve the overall process in operation consists of port info & restriction response, PDA submission, appointment acceptance, pre-arrival to & from the master, arrival notice to terminal and update arrival to master, notice of readiness, report submission internally and externally.
Carry out responsibilities in a manner consistent with the operation's daily routine in preparing, coordinating, and implementing the operation process with proper communication among the operation team, master, port agency/authority.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Report directly to the Branch Manager and assist daily operations required. Liaise with the terminal and surveyors.
- Prepare documentation for Local Authorities.
- Attend to a vessel on arrival and departure formalities/Port Clearance.
- Handling crew change (sign-on & sign-off).
- Port bills follow-up and daily posting.
- Prepare, coordinate, and issuance of Billing Lading.
- Ensure all operational matters are in good order and satisfy principal enquiries.
- Administrative tasks and other duties as assigned by the Supervisor as and when needed,
- Developing good relationships with customers, both Internal and External

Skills:
- Computer Literate with experience in Microsoft Excel,
- Word as well as data entry
- Good Communication, both written and oral.
Experience:
- Experience in the shipping industry
Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a high school diploma or be qualified by work experience
