Job Summary:
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Lorry Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be tasked with transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations across Peninsular Malaysia (and/or East Malaysia, if applicable). You must have a valid driving license and a good understanding of local routes and traffic regulations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive 1-ton or 3-ton lorry (based on license class) to deliver goods to customers or company sites.
- Load and unload goods safely, either manually or using material handling equipment.
- Ensure goods are delivered in good condition and on time.
- Perform routine vehicle inspections and basic maintenance (e.g. checking oil, brakes, tyres).
- Maintain accurate delivery records and submission of delivery orders (DOs) and invoices.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies while driving.
- Report accidents, traffic violations, or mechanical issues immediately to the supervisor.
- Assist in warehouse or loading operations when required.
Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least SPM level.
- Valid GDL (Goods Driving License) and Class D/E license (depending on lorry type).
- At least 1–2 years of driving experience in a similar role.
- Familiar with major roads, industrial areas, and highways in Malaysia.
- Able to work independently and handle delivery schedules.
- Physically fit and able to lift heavy goods (if required).
- Willing to travel outstation and work overtime when needed.
Preferred Qualities:
- Good attitude, responsible, and reliable..
- Punctual and customer-service oriented.
- Knowledge of vehicle maintenance is an added advantage.
