Position Summary
This role is responsible for a broad scope of goods movement, coordinating shipments between supplier, manufacturers, customers, and logistics service providers. Other major objectives include transport related SAP system inputs, freight invoices cost verification, shipping documents preparation and continuous improvement to drive and sustain a high level of data integrity in the system and documentation.
Essential Job Functions
- Liaise with vendors, carriers, and suppliers to ensure logistics requirements are met.
- Track shipments and resolve any issues or delays in the delivery process.
- Maintain accurate records of shipments, deliveries, and returns.
- Collaborate with other departments to optimize transportation and supply chain processes.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international shipping regulations.
- Provide updates on delivery status and resolve any issues related to order fulfillment or delivery.
- Document and follow up on damage good complaints from plant and resolve the issues until resolution.
- Prepare and maintain reports related to logistics activities and customer service metrics.
- Process and manage shipping documents related to shipments.
- Assist in handling special projects as assigned by the management team.
Position Requirements
- Prefer a Bachelor's Degree in the field of -- Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in logistics and customer service role with an MNC.
- Additional Experience Desired: Between 1-3 years of experience in logistics/shipping line.
- Computer Skills Desired: Experience with Microsoft Office. SAP experience is preferred - ECC, TM.
- Additional Knowledge or Skills to be Successful in this role: Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English. Ability to speak and write in Mandarin would be advantageous as this position would need to frequently communicate with clients in Mandarin.
