Job Description
- Draft, review and negotiate a variety of contracts and other legal documents (both internal and external).
- Assist in the development and improvement of legal templates, standard operating procedures and compliance frameworks.
- Provide legal support across departments, including contractual rights, obligations and risk assessments.
- Support corporate functions on legal related matters.
- Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.
- Monitor and assess regulatory and legal developments, ensuring timely updates to internal stakeholders.
- Perform other legal duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Job Requirements
- Malaysian citizen with a law degree (LLB or equivalent) recognized in Malaysia.
- Minimum 1 year of post-qualification legal experience. Fresh graduates are also encouraged to apply.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Power Point and etc.
- Prior experience in contract negotiation, dispute resolution or corporate advisory is an added advantage.
- Strong legal research, analytical, communication and negotiation skills.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English, with the ability to deliver clear and concise legal support.
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision and manage multiple tasks effectively.
- Highly organized, self-motivated, resourceful and fast learner. A team player with pleasant personality and strong interpersonal skills
- High standards of integrity, professionalism and confidentiality.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
