The Legal Administrative Assistant will provide day-to-day administrative and paralegal support to the legal department. This role is ideal for someone with a legal background, law firm or corporate legal experience, or a law student eager to develop practical in-house exposure in a fast-paced business environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in drafting, reviewing, and formatting contracts, agreements, and corporate documents.
- Maintain and organize company legal records, including contracts, licenses, and compliance files.
- Coordinate with external counsel and government agencies as required.
- Support the legal team in monitoring regulatory compliance and corporate governance matters.
- Schedule meetings, prepare documentation, and track deadlines for filings and submissi
- Conduct basic legal research to support the legal and compliance functions.
- Handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a law firm, corporate legal department, or related role (preferred).
- Background in legal studies or current law student will be an advantage.
- Strong organizational and document management skills.
- Knowledge of corporate governance, compliance, and contract administration is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with document management systems is an advantage.
- Ability to work independently while supporting a dynamic team.
