Job Responsibilities
1. The role is to assist the Centre Manager on all leasing matters & to support the Leasing Department in planning and implementing tenancy mix within the retail mall. Identify and short-list suitable tenants and retail concepts for the mall. Initiate discussion with potential tenants, negotiate the lease and finalize rental and other terms and conditions. Ensure tenants’ adhere to the lease terms. Follow up through execution to the opening of store.
2. Leasing Administration - To prepare, update and maintain all leasing reports / records including tenant’s profiles, offer letters, tenancy / license agreements, daily correspondence and proposals. To assist in the setting up of an effective tenancy administration filing system.
To liaise closely with inter-departments for matters pertaining to collection of deposits, outstanding rentals, operations, security, promotions, building maintenance and insurance.
3. Tenant Liaison - To set regular meetings and to maintain a good rapport with tenants. To attend to the day-to-day complaints from tenants pertaining to leasing matters and to co-ordinate with other departments to resolve the problem.
4. Fit-Out Coordination - To assist Fit-Out Department in coordinating fit-out matters including timely submission of renovation plans, drawings and perspectives.
Job Requirements
Candidate must possess at least a Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Business Studies/Administration/Management, Property Development/Real Estate Management/Retail Management or equivalent.
- At least 5 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- Good interpersonal and negotiation skills.
- With retail industries background preferably in Shopping Mall / Complex Management.
- Good contacts with major retailers in the industry.
- Knowledge in tenancy administration, report writing and research market.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM3,200.00 - RM4,500.00 per month
