Job Description:
We are seeking a motivated and responsible Laboratory Assistant to support our laboratory operations. The successful candidate will assist in preparing chemical solutions, maintaining lab cleanliness, handling laboratory equipment, conducting routine tests, and recording accurate data. This role is ideal for someone with a background in science who enjoys hands-on work and pays close attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the preparation and standardization of chemical solutions and reagents
- Clean and maintain glassware, instruments, and the general laboratory environment
- Perform basic laboratory tests under supervision
- Label, store, and manage samples and chemical inventory properly
- Record and compile test results accurately and systematically
- Ensure compliance with safety procedures and laboratory protocols
- Support senior lab technicians or chemists in day-to-day tasks
Requirements:
- Minimum SPM with strong science background / Diploma in Science, Chemistry, or related field
- Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
- Basic knowledge of lab equipment and safety procedures
- Good communication and organizational skills
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Willing to learn and adapt in a laboratory environment
Additional Advantages:
- Experience working in a chemical, food, or environmental lab
- Familiarity with lab instruments (e.g. pH meter, spectrophotometer)
- Computer literacy (Excel, Word)

Pay: From RM2,000.00 per month
