They are on the lookout for a Key Account Manager with a solid track record in handling major retail accounts — especially Watsons.
Position: Key Accounts Manager
Location: Bukit Jelutong, Shah Alam
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage key account strategies to drive revenue, brand presence, and customer loyalty.
- Develop long-term partnerships with major clients, while identifying new business opportunities.
- Monitor sales performance, customer behavior, and product trends to support strategic decision-making.
- Plan and implement tailored promotional and trade activities that deliver strong ROI.
- Coordinate closely with internal teams (marketing, supply chain, finance) to ensure timely execution of key account plans.
- Handle account forecasting, budgeting, and reporting.
- Proactively resolve customer concerns and ensure high levels of satisfaction and retention.
- Coach and mentor junior team members to enhance performance and support development.
- Prepare and present regular business reviews and progress reports to management and clients.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum 6–8 years of experience in FMCG sales or key account management, with at least 2–3 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Must have prior experience handling the Watsons account with proven results in driving sales and managing the relationship.
- Proven success managing both international and local chain accounts (e.g. Watsons, 99 Speedmart, Econsave).
- Proficient in English (written & verbal) and Mandarin is preferred.
- Strong analytical thinking, commercial sense, and structured planning skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Demonstrated ability to manage customer relationships proactively and systematically — even without formal CRM tools.Remuneration packages:
Basic: RM7,000 – RM10,000 per month

Working Days: Mon to Sat -5.5 days work week
Working Hours: 9:30am - 6:00pm Monday to Friday (Except Public Holidays)
9:30am - 1:30pm Saturday

Pay: RM7,000.00 - RM10,000.00 per month
