Magnus Digital is seeking a Junior Web Developer with 2 years of hands-on experience in developing custom websites using WordPress and Elementor. Scope of Work:
As a Junior Web Developer, you will support the development team in building, updating, and maintaining responsive WordPress websites. You’ll collaborate with designers, marketers, and senior developers to deliver high-quality digital experiences for a variety of clients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Build custom WordPress websites using Elementor and custom layouts.
- Develop and style web pages using HTML, CSS, and basic PHP.
- Ensure responsive design and cross-browser compatibility across all devices.
- Integrate and configure plugins such as Elementor Pro, RankMath SEO, and WooCommerce.
- Perform routine website maintenance, updates, backups, and bug fixes.
- Optimize websites for speed, performance, and SEO best practices.
- Troubleshoot layout or functionality issues and implement solutions.
- Collaborate with the team on timelines, priorities, and delivery milestones.
Requirements:Experience:
- 2 years of practical experience in WordPress web development.
- Demonstrated ability to build websites using Elementor without relying on templates.
- Hands-on experience managing plugin configurations and basic website optimization.
Technical Skills:
- Proficient in WordPress CMS and Elementor Pro.
- Solid understanding of HTML, CSS, and basic PHP.
- Familiar with SEO basics and on-page optimization (e.g., RankMath).
- Understanding of website performance improvements (e.g., caching, image compression).
- Familiar with website responsiveness and UX fundamentals.
