JOB SUMMARY:
We’re looking for a passionate and eager-to-learn Junior SOC Analyst to join our cybersecurity team. In this role, you’ll help monitor systems for security threats, respond to alerts, and support the team in protecting our networks and data. REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma or Degree in Cybersecurity, IT, or related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in a cybersecurity or SOC role.
- Basic knowledge of cybersecurity concepts (e.g., firewalls, malware, phishing).
- Familiar with SIEM tools or willing to learn (e.g., Splunk, QRadar).
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work in shifts, including weekends or nights if required.
- Strong interest in learning and growing in the cybersecurity field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Monitor security alerts using tools like Splunk, QRadar, or similar.
- Help investigate and respond to basic security incidents.
- Follow SOPs and playbooks to handle alerts consistently.
- Work with senior team members to contain and analyze threats.
- Assist in creating reports on daily and weekly SOC activity.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and knowledge sharing.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM5,000.00 per month
