Job Description:
- Provide first-level technical support to users for hardware, software, and network issues.
- Troubleshoot and resolve IT-related issues in a timely manner.
- Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist in updating and upgrading software applications and operating systems.
- Monitor and maintain local area networks (LAN), internet connections, and Wi-Fi systems.
- Support the IT Executive in managing servers, backup systems, and data storage.
- Assist in implementing basic cybersecurity measures (e.g., antivirus updates, password protocols).
- Monitor and report any suspicious activity or potential threats.
- Maintain an up-to-date inventory of IT equipment and software licenses. Tag and track IT assets for accountability.
- Maintain IT documentation including setup procedures, asset records, and incident reports.
- Support staff in navigating new tools or systems.
- Assist in managing and troubleshooting email systems, CCTV setups, and intercom systems.
- Support the IT Executive in any ad hoc tasks or projects as assigned.
- Respond promptly to IT support tickets and maintain good communication with staff.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Information Technology or other related fields.
- Knowledge of computer hardware, software, and networking.
- Understanding of basic network troubleshooting.
- Ability to install, configure, and maintain desktop/laptop systems and printers.
