Key Responsibilities:
1. Research & Development (R&D):
- Conduct market research on food & beverage trends, competitors’ menus, and guest preferences.
- Assist in gathering feedback on current products and identifying improvement opportunities.
- Support in testing and documenting new menu ideas, recipes, and product variations.
2. Product Development:
- Assist in brainstorming and drafting proposals for promotional menu items.
- Support in preparing presentations and product briefs for internal review.
- Help coordinate taste tests and collect structured feedback from stakeholders.
3. Administrative & Coordination Support:
- Maintain records of recipes, raw material usage, and costings.
- Support the Manager in liaising with suppliers for product samples and materials.
- Help prepare SOP, reports, product trackers, and timelines for upcoming promotions.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Diploma/Degree in Food Science/ Technology, Culinary Arts, or related fields.
- Passionate about food trends, creativity, and guest experience.
- Good organizational and research skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Willingness to learn, detail-oriented, and a team player.
Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM1,000.00 per month

- Petaling Jaya: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
