Internship for Sustainability Students
We are looking for a motivated sustainability Intern to assist in promoting sustainability across the organization. The intern will support sustainability strategies, facilitate initiatives and assist in creating key sustainability reports and communications. Additionally, the role involves taking on ad hoc tasks related to sustainability efforts, providing a great opportunity to gain practical experience in corporate sustainability.
Job Description
- Assist in the collection, compilation, tabulation and analysis of environmental data related to sustainability efforts (e.g., energy, waste, water usage, and GHG emissions).
- Assist in executing and managing sustainability-related programs and initiatives across the organization.
- Assist in conduct research on government grants, incentives and awards available to support sustainability and environmental projects.
- Assist in simulating environmental impact assessments, including evaluating aspects like GHG emissions and other key sustainability metrics.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a degree in Environmental Science, Sustainability or a related field.
- Passion for sustainability and a commitment to making a positive impact.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of corporate sustainability practices and ESG principles.
