Job Description
- Assist in collecting, cleaning, and maintaining spatial and demographic data relevant to retail operations.
- Support the development and continuous updating of the GIS database used for market analysis and site selection.
- Assist in preparing visualizations (e.g., maps, charts) to support internal presentations and decision-making.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Geographic Information System (GIS), Urban & Regional Planning, Property/Real Estate Management, or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of GIS software (ArcGIS Pro, ArcGIS Online).
- Interest in retail market dynamics, urban development, and commercial property.
- Familiarity with demographic data sources (e.g., DOSM, local planning reports).
- Beginner to intermediate skills in ESRI ArcGIS software, particularly geodatabase (GDB) management and data organization.
- Familiarity with ArcGIS Apps such as ArcGIS Instant Apps and ArcGIS Dashboards.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently or in a team setting.
Job Type: Internship
Contract length: 3 months
Pay: RM1,000.00 per month
