- To keep abreast with the market trends in global business environment, especially in the areas of communication, public relations, stakeholder management and reputation management.
- Able to apply multi-modal research approaches, from desktop literature research to conducting stakeholder surveys in developing insightful reports and strategies for GSRC, in addressing concerns of key stakeholders and the general public.
- Able to conduct custom research reports on both planned and ad-hoc basis based on management requirements, this include benchmarking of intra and inter industry peer companies.
- Able to execute periodic reporting on insightful research papers on various communication platforms / touchpoints.
- Support in the planning and execution of events/workshops, as well as in the preparations of training materials, governance documents, where needed
- Able to work with various groups in PETRONAS Group as well as with external parties such as the survey vendor agency
- Managing managements expectations in delivering impactful results which encompass timeliness and quality over the planning and operational improvement efforts without losing the big picture perspective.
- Ability to network and work well with business planning peers at Business Units, Holding Company Units and OPUs
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

Qualification:
Pursuing the Bachelor Degree in Market Research, Industry Research, Research Analyst, Actuarial Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, Geoscience, Engineering, Industry Research or equivalent. Knowledge on Business Administration, Communications, Public Relations, Stakeholder Management, Reputation Management and Branding are valued. Critical and strong analytical thinking along with strong English command (both speaking and writing), good data management, reporting and writing skills are sought.
Experience:
- Have handled large scale survey program execution (over 10,000 pax surveys send out) with innovative mindset for continuous improvements in the process involved (automations and digitization of operations) will be valued
- Deep knowledge and understanding of factors and trends impacting organisations reputation
- Deep understanding of the latest market developments and best practices related to Communications, Public Relations, Stakeholder Management, Reputation Management and Branding
- Peer benchmarking of other companies communication, public relations, stakeholder management, branding and reputation management strategies
- Have experience in change management or organizational performance improvements or transformation efforts
- Experience in PETRONAS business (operational and planning) is an added advantage
