Position Overview
The Administrative Intern will provide day-to-day support to the Office of the Chief Operating Officer (COO), based in Shah Alam. This role complements the existing administrative support stationed in Puchong and ensures continuity of administrative functions and coordination for tasks and engagements originating from Sidec HQ. The intern will be exposed to operations management, cross-office coordination, and stakeholder communication in a high-level executive setting.
Key Responsibilities
1. Administrative Support
- Assist in scheduling, filing, document preparation, and internal communications
- Maintain physical and digital records related to COO engagements
2. Meeting & Logistics Coordination
- Support bookings and setup for meetings and small events at Shah Alam HQ
- Coordinate with Puchong-based admin for document or logistics handoffs
3. Document Handling & Reporting
- Prepare simple reports, meeting minutes, and briefing notes for COO’s review
- Update action item trackers and ensure deadlines are monitored
4.Operational Liaison
- Act as point-of-contact for internal visitors, vendors, and departmental reps at Shah Alam when the COO or Puchong-based admin is unavailable
5. Ad-hoc Tasks
- Support research, presentation prep, or Sidec program logistics as needed
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree (or currently pursuing) in Business Admin, Office Management, Communications, or related fields
- Internship duration: 6 months
- Based in Shah Alam, with willingness to occasionally support offsite events
- Strong sense of responsibility, confidentiality, and initiative
- Mandarin Language is an additional
Skills
- Organisational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Calendar)
- Communication skills (verbal and written – English & Bahasa Malaysia)
- Time management and ability to follow through on assigned tasks
- Professionalism and discretion in handling sensitive matters

Pay: RM800.00 per month
