Job Description:
- A warm, creative, and enthusiastic IEP Teacher for the Primary Section (Grades 1–10) to help young learners develop foundational English language skills.
- The teacher will implement an engaging curriculum that supports English language acquisition through play-based and interactive learning aligned with the four core IEP components: Reading & Vocabulary, Writing & Grammar, Listening & Speaking, and Language Enrichment Activities depending on their level of understanding.
- Plan and deliver age-appropriate English language lessons in a fun, interactive environment.
- Foster language development through phonics, storytelling, songs, group activities, and games.
- Monitor progress and adapt lessons to meet diverse learning needs.
- Provide differentiated instruction for students at varying English proficiency levels.
- Encourage student participation, confidence, and communication in English.
- Collaborate with colleagues and IEP coordinators to ensure curriculum alignment.
- Maintain records and report student progress to the academic team and parents.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree in Education, TESOL, Early Childhood Education, or a related field.
- TEFL/TESOL/CELTA certification is mandatory.
- At least 2 years of experience teaching ESL/IEP to young learners
- Knowledge of child development and early literacy strategies.
- Excellent classroom management and student engagement skills.
- Friendly, patient, and enthusiastic teaching style.
