Main Duties and responsibilities:

Able to read pneumatic ladder diagrams.
Able to read electrical and mech-electronic diagrams.
Able to service pneumatic valves relay, cylinders and valves.
Able to do calibration on flowrate, temperature, pressure/ vacuum and level instruments.
Understanding the terms of accuracy, precision and repeatability.
Able to read PLC ladder diagrams especially with Siemens Simatic S7.
Understanding SCADA programming languages, e.g. Cimplicity, Wonderware, etc.
Troubleshoot instruments especially controllers on valves and boiler control systems.

Job Summary:

Able to carry out troubleshooting and calibration on Instrumentation equipments; temperature, pressure, level sensors and weighing system.
To carry out installation, controls, repairing and servicing of pneumatic and hydraulic equipment.
Be responsibility to reduce automation breakdown, increase equipment efficiency and operating system.
Be responsible to carry out all the instructions given by the Engineer/ supervisor.
Able to understand, design, re-draw of electrical and instrumentation drawings (update the drawing).
Be responsible to perform the instrument commissioning, start-up and servicing to instrument equipment.
Update calibration reports.
Able to work independently under minimum supervision and right sense of urgency to meet deadlines.
Assist shift electrician to carry out the instrument breakdown during on call.
