Job Summary
The Hub Team Leader is responsible for overseeing day-to-day parcel sorting activities within the hub. This includes supervising a team of sorters, ensuring timely and accurate inbound/outbound operations, monitoring scan compliance, and maintaining productivity and safety standards during each shift.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of sorters, loaders, and scanning staff on the hub floor.
- Ensure timely sorting and processing of inbound and outbound shipments according to cut-off schedules.
- Monitor parcel flow to ensure correct routing by zone/area/destination.
- Perform and verify parcel scanning, labelling, and sorting accuracy.
- Coordinate with the Hub Supervisor on shift planning, manpower allocation, and daily targets.
- Ensure compliance with SOPs, safety regulations, and cleanliness of the hub area.
- Conduct daily briefings and end-of-shift reporting on performance and issues.
- Handle minor operational issues and escalate major delays, damages, or discrepancies.
- Support new team members with on-the-job training and coaching.
Requirements
- Minimum SPM / Diploma in Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
- 2–3 years of experience in logistics, courier, or warehouse operations, preferably in a hub or sortation center.
- Prior experience in a supervisory or team leader role is a strong advantage.
- Basic knowledge of scanning devices, parcel management systems, or WMS.
- Physically fit and able to work in a fast-paced, hands-on environment.
- Able to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.

Job Type: Contract
Contract length: 6 months
Pay: RM2,900.00 - RM3,000.00 per month
