As a HR Business Partner (HRBP), Associate you will assist the HR team in aligning business objectives with employee and management needs in designated business functions. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR candidate to join our team in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia to support China and the ANZ region.
What you will be doing:
Act as a HR partner supporting the APAC HRBP team, providing HR guidance and support.
Assist with all internal and external HR related matters.
Support onboarding new hires.
Partner with HR Ops on employment records and compliance
Support with local labor laws, regulations particularly in China and ANZ.
Collaborate with global HR teams to align HR strategies with business objectives.
Maintain accurate HR records and prepare reports as needed.
Establish reporting to identify trends and metrics in partnership with business leaders and collaborate with colleagues in the human resources to develop solutions, programs and policies.
Participate in developing organizational guidelines and procedures.
Perform orientations and communicate initiatives to drive employee engagement
What you will likely bring:
Strong knowledge of local employment laws within China, ANZ and across APAC is preferred.
Exposure to multiple human resource disciplines including compensation, organizational analysis and development, employee relations, talent management, staffing
Possess business acumen with a sense of urgency, problem solving and critical thinking skills and fundamentals.
Ability to communicate effectively in verbal and written communication.
Ability to work as part of a team.
Ability to complete tasks on deadlines.
Chinese language skills required as supporting China market.
What could set you apart:
2-3 years of HR experience and demonstrated success/knowledge
Bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience)
Proficiency in HR systems (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office Suite
