Neofrontier Sdn Bhd, a leading hospitality company, is seeking a passionate and experienced Housekeeping Manager to join our growing team in Johor Bahru, Johor. In this full-time role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our homestay accommodations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences.
What you'll be doing
- Manage daily housekeeping operations for all short-term rental properties.
- Ensure each unit is cleaned, stocked, and ready for guest check-in according to set standards.
- Perform quality checks after cleanings to ensure guest-ready condition.
- Coordinate laundry services or oversee in-house laundering of linens and towels.
- Monitor cleaning inventory (e.g., linens, toiletries, cleaning supplies) and restock as needed.
- Schedule cleanings based on guest check-in/check-out dates and update calendars accordingly.
- Maintain detailed records of cleanings, damages, and supplies used.
- Communicate promptly with the owner/operations team about property conditions, maintenance needs, and guest feedback.
- Train and supervise cleaning staff or external vendors.
- Assist in creating and updating standard operating procedures (SOPs) for housekeeping operations.
What we're looking for
- Minimum 3 years of experience in a similar housekeeping role within the hospitality industry
- Strong customer service orientation and the ability to handle guest inquiries and complaints effectively
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact with guests and staff at all levels
- Knowledge of hospitality industry regulations, policies, and best practices
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask efficiently
- Adaptability and problem-solving skills to handle various operational challenges
