Responsibilities:
Responsible in all Halal matters; renewal application, new application submission. Ensure proper control and maintenance documentation.Liaise with external parties related to factory operations, e.g. customer, (audits, product development, complaint etc. For dealing with health authorities, JAKIM Officers and other regulatory authorities, provide assistance to the Regulatory Officer as and when required.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- Ensure the factory is Halal certified.
- Ensure the AGPG outlet is Halal certified.
- Maintain ongoing Halal status for both factory and AGPG outlet.
- Conduct Halal awareness training for relevant staff.
- Carry out internal Halal audits at AGPG outlet and factory.
Daily Responsibilities
-Monitor preparation and submission of Halal documentation.
Update Daily Priority Task list.
- Review and check the monthly salary report.
- Assist the Senior Manager in compiling the department’s monthly report.
-Review and verify statutory payments, claims, overtime, allowances, and salaries.
Qualification:
- Should have at least a Diploma / Degree in Food Technology / Diploma or Degree in Halal Management/ equivalent
- Preferably have a minimum of 1 year of working experience in quality control and quality assurance management in the F&B chain industry or restaurants.
- Have Certified Halal Executive registered under Halal Professional Board (HPB).
- Formal background or training in technical areas relevant to product safety standards.
- Familiarity with the Food & Beverages and FMCG Industry.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, quality assurance terminology, implementations, methods, and tools
