- Assist in the loading and unloading of LPG cylinders, ensuring proper handling and adherence to safety regulations to minimize risks of damage or accidents.
- Perform routine inspections of LPG cylinders and storage areas, promptly reporting any leaks, damages, or irregularities to the supervisor to maintain a safe working environment.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the storage facility, including sweeping, mopping, and disposing of waste materials, to ensure a tidy and hazard-free workspace.
- Assist in the proper arrangement and stacking of LPG cylinders according to established guidelines, optimizing space utilization and ensuring easy access for distribution.
- Support the maintenance team in basic equipment repairs and upkeep, such as lubricating moving parts or replacing minor components, under supervision, to ensure operational efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors, providing updates on completed tasks and reporting any issues or concerns promptly to maintain smooth workflow and coordination.
- Adhere strictly to all safety protocols and guidelines, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following emergency procedures, to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Assist in inventory management by counting and recording the number of LPG cylinders received and dispatched, ensuring accurate stock levels and minimizing discrepancies.
- Operate basic tools and equipment, such as hand trucks and pallet jacks, safely and efficiently to move LPG cylinders within the facility, following proper operating procedures.
- Participate in safety training programs and workshops to enhance knowledge of safety regulations and best practices, contributing to a culture of safety consciousness within the company.
