ACE Education is seeking an experienced GED Mathematical Reasoning Tutor to guide students in mastering the skills needed to succeed in the GED Mathematical Reasoning test. This role involves delivering lessons on quantitative problem-solving, algebraic concepts, geometry, and data analysis while building students’ confidence and test-taking strategies.
Responsibilities
- Teach GED Mathematical Reasoning topics, including:
- Basic Math & Number Operations
- Algebraic Equations & Inequalities
- Geometry & Measurement
- Data Interpretation & Probability
- Prepare and deliver structured, engaging lessons tailored to GED standards
- Provide practice exercises, mock tests, and constructive feedback
- Identify student weaknesses and adjust lesson plans accordingly
- Track student progress and maintain learning records
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field
- Prior experience teaching or tutoring GED, IGCSE, or equivalent exam preparation preferred
- Strong knowledge of GED Mathematical Reasoning format and requirements
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain concepts clearly
- Patience and adaptability in teaching approach
