AIS International School follows the Cambridge curriculum for Primary, Secondary, and IGCSE levels. We are currently looking for a dedicated and efficient Front Desk Officer who can manage front office operations while also handling procurement responsibilities. This dual-role position requires excellent communication skills, professionalism, and strong attention to detail.
Responsibilities
- Greet and assist all visitors, parents, students, and staff in a professional and welcoming manner
- Handle incoming phone calls, emails, and general enquiries
- Maintain accurate visitor logs and student-related records
- Support admissions team with enquiries and basic document handling
- Manage appointments, incoming and outgoing mail, and front desk supplies
- Coordinate with various departments to ensure smooth daily operations
- Maintain an organised and presentable reception area
- Source and procure items required by the school, ensuring cost-effectiveness and quality
- Prepare and process purchase orders and follow up with vendors for timely delivery
- Maintain supplier database and manage vendor communications
- Track inventory levels and update records regularly
- Coordinate with the finance department for invoice processing and payment tracking
- Ensure all purchasing activities comply with school policies and procedures
Requirements
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Office Management, or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in a front desk, administration, or purchasing role
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with procurement software is a plus
- Friendly, presentable, and professional appearance with strong interpersonal skills
- Organised, detail-oriented, and able to multitask under pressure
- Trustworthy, with a high degree of integrity and responsibility
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM2,300.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
