Job Description
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Define, design, develop, and configurations for Computer Vision (CV) Integration which include vision hardware selection such as GPU PC, Vision camera, lens & lighting… etc., establish the communication interface between CV to machine software and support CV integration to automated equipment from setup, testing, buyoff till release.
- Deployment for CV projects to manufacturing by coordinating internal and external resources, ROI calculation, creating P spec and ensuring on time delivering.
- Troubleshooting skills, MSA, GR&R and problem analysis knowledge is required.
- Identify and study potential CV integration to existing process for process quality improvement.
- Review and advise potential integration of existing or new manufacturing systems/platforms and metrology practices.
- Manage relationship with project stakeholders & vendors and to handle/oversee project progress.
- Provide summary dashboard of project milestones, deliverables, dependencies, risks & issues to all stakeholders.
- Project management skill. Manage the project from zero until release to production.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Experience with Computer Vision (CV) systems and integration.
- Knowledge of GPU hardware and vision camera systems.
- Familiarity with automated equipment and manufacturing processes.
- Experience with ROI calculations and project specifications.
- Strong problem-solving skills and experience with MSA and GR&R.
- Knowledge of manufacturing systems and metrology practices.
- Strong vendor management skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot and analyze complex problems.
- Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
- Microsoft Project or other project management software proficiency.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to collaborate across departments and levels.
- Commitment to continuous learning and improvement.
