Financial Controller

Browzwear is a leading provider of 3D fashion design and simulation software, driving digital transformation in the fashion industry. The company has pioneered the use of 3D design for apparel and is widely adopted by major fashion brands and manufacturers. 

We are seeking a highly experienced Financial Controller to join our finance team in Malaysia or Poland. This role is ideal for a senior-level accountant with strong technical skills, a deep understanding of financial reporting standards, and hands-on experience managing tax compliance processes.   

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of group financial statements in accordance with IFRS standards. 
• Manage and oversee external financial audits, ensuring timely and accurate responses to audit queries. 
• Prepare and review corporate tax filings and monthly/quarterly tax reporting. 
• Ensure full compliance with local tax regulations and liaise with external tax advisors as needed. 
• Act as the main point of contact for financial reporting and tax matters globally. 
• Collaborate with internal teams and global finance stakeholders to support reporting and compliance. 
• Work with NetSuite (NS) ERP system for financial data management and reporting. 

Requirements

• Professional accounting qualification (e.g., MIA member, ACCA, CPA, ICAEW, or equivalent). 
• Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on financial reporting and tax. 
• Strong knowledge and practical experience in IFRS accounting standards. 
• Hands-on experience working with NetSuite an advantage 
• Proven ability to manage audits and complex tax matters. 
• Advanced Excel skills  
• International transfer pricing accounting 
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work across global teams. 
• Experience with SaaS companies is a plus 
• Fluent in English (spoken and written) is required.
