We are currently hiring a Financial Accountant to join our Finance & Accounting team based in Malaysian Branch.
You can look forward to
- Monitor daily cash position and ensure sufficient liquidity across bank accounts.
- Execute intercompany and external fund transfers in accordance with treasury policies.
- Support the opening, closing, and maintenance of bank accounts.
- Ensure accurate and timely processing of payments, including FX and treasury settlements.
- Prepare treasury reports, including cash position, bank reconciliations.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, treasury policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Develop and recommend areas for enhancements and improvements for the current systems and processes to meet the challenges and needs of treasury reporting areas.
- Attend bank/ audit query related on cash inflow and outflow.
- Other ad-hoc tasks assigned by Team Lead/ CFO.
You come equipped with
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 – 2 years of experience in treasury.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., SAP, Oracle) and Microsoft Excel.
- Knowledge in cash management, FX and banking operations.
- Experience with data analysis tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, SQL) and programming language (e.g. Python, Java) is a plus.
- Demonstrates strong communication skills and the ability to effectively engage with stakeholders at all levels.
- Upholds integrity and confidentiality in handling sensitive information and decision-making.
- Applies problem-solving skills and takes initiative to address challenges proactively.
- Maintains high attention to detail and ensures accuracy in all tasks and deliverables.
- Possesses strong analytical and numerical skills to support decision-making.
- Manages time effectively and is able to prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.
- Adapts well to changing environments and is committed to continuous learning and development.
