The Finance Executive will be responsible for processing invoices, ensuring timely payments, addressing vendor inquiries, and reconciling the AP records to the financial statements, across affiliated US entities in accordance with accounting policies, procedures and controls.
- Responsible for end-to-end accounts payable processing
- Monitor multiple AP inboxes and respond to vendor inquiries in a timely manner
- Promptly process invoices once received, including proper financial statement coding, as well as routing to internal departments for appropriate approvals
- Responsible for reconciling AP aging report to the financial statements
- Work with internal departments and external vendors to resolve billing issues promptly
- Prepare ad-hoc accounts payable related reports as needed
- Assist with month-end close process and various financial and regulatory audits as needed
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in account or finance
- Excellent excel skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to prioritize in a time sensitive and multi-tasked environment
- 1-2 years experience in accounts payable, or related financial accounting and reporting is preferred (internship experience counts)
- Experience with Oracle or similar preferred
