- Manage financial functions and ensure accurate and timely reporting.
- Establish short and long-term goals, policies, procedures, and internal controls.
- Oversee accounts receivable collections and ensure adherence to company policies.
- Manage overall cash flow to minimise outstanding loans and ensure timely and accurate reporting.
- Ensure on-time completion of general ledger account reconciliations, including resolution of reconciling items.
- Interact with vendors to ensure on-time invoice payments.
- Plan and implement accounts payable process improvements to improve efficiency and strengthen controls.
- Ensure compliance with all tax requirements and reporting, including transfer pricing reporting with support from a tax agent.
- Work closely with the payroll provider and Regional HR to ensure all HR matters are well handled.
Skills, Knowledge & Abilities
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience as a Financial Controller.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance or equivalent.
- Experience in internal control and internal check systems related to Credit and Collections.
- Experience in dealing with foreign currency receivables.
- Excellent time management and organisational skills.
- Demonstrates initiative and adaptability.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to challenges that come from rapid growth.
Good to have
- Chartered Accountant/Certified Public Accountant
- Working experience in the logistics industry
