We are seeking a dedicated Fashion Designer to create functional, high-quality, and accessible sportswear for the everyday athlete. This is a key role in our mission to provide exceptional value and performance, designing core athletic apparel that meets the diverse needs of communities across Malaysia.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design & Development: Conceptualize, design, and develop original apparel collections from initial sketches to final technical drawings.
- Production Oversight: Collaborate with production teams and external suppliers, including international manufacturing partners, to ensure accurate design execution and quality control.
- Technical Expertise: Create detailed technical packs (tech packs) for manufacturers, specifying garment construction, pattern making, and textile selection.
- Trend & Market Analysis: Conduct market research to identify emerging trends and consumer needs, applying these insights to develop commercially viable and innovative designs.
- Visual & Brand Strategy: Assist with visual merchandising, styling for photoshoots, and contribute to brand consistency across all platforms.
- Event & Brand Activation: Support the planning and execution of fashion events, pop-up stores, and brand activations, including backstage management and logistics.
- Software Proficiency: Utilize Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop for digital design, illustrations, and technical drawings.
Requirements:
- Educational Background: A Diploma or Degree in Fashion Design, Product Design or a related field is required.
- Technical Fashion Skills: Demonstrable skills in sewing, pattern making, quality inspection, and technical drawing.
- Soft Skills: Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment. Must be people-oriented and possess a keen eye for detail.

Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
