ROLES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- To ensure material supply meet production requirements with minimum stock level whilst optimising cost and high quality assured.
- Duties include plan, forecast, order and monitor stocks and delivery for packaging materials such as UHT paper and sleeve and pasteurizer paper, tin lids and can body, straw, tinplate, copper wire, stretch film, pet strapping, lacquer reducer ang ingredients.
- Duties involve issue and submitting Purchase order and expediting orders when supplies are low and adjust order volume as needs arise or fluctuate.
- Tracking production volume and monitoring customer demand patterns to ensure sufficient inventory for production consumption.
- To control the inventory for packaging material by keeping the stock holdings level at minimum 2 months and maximum 4 months subject to type of material.
- To work with 3rd party warehouse team to ensure inventory report accuracy.
- To monitor supplier’s SCAR and coordinate with supplier to support Production and QA for all matters related to supplier quality issues and to ensure replacement of materials or CN was given.
- To control wastage of packaging materials due to aging material or new packaging changeover.
- To work with warehouse team to generate monthly paper aging report.
- To prepare and keep custom report and/or submission of form required to regulation requirements.
- To create new item code for raw material and packaging material.
- To cultivate and encourage departmental employees towards a positive Quality and Food Safety culture through communication, training, feedback, engagement, and performance measurement.
- To consistently practice Good Manufacturing Practices, Good Hygiene Practices, maintaining plant Hygiene in compliance with FSSC 22000, ISO 9001, HACCP and AGPRM requirements at work.
- To participate and engage in Quality and Food Safety Culture related programmes such as communication, training, feedback, and performance measurement
REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum Diploma in a related field, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Purchasing.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in supply chain and/or procurement functions.
- Strong ability to handle unexpected situations with a proactive and team-oriented attitude.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and experience with AI-based applications is an added advantage.
- Candidates with knowledge and experience in Customs procedures, MIDA processes, and Port operations are strongly encouraged to apply.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: RM2,000.00 - RM3,400.00 per month
