Excavator Mechanic/Foreman

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Excavator Mechanic/Foreman to inspect, diagnose, repair, and maintain hydraulic excavators and other heavy construction equipment. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical aptitude, experience with diesel engines, hydraulic systems, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Diagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on excavators
• Perform routine maintenance and inspections on machines to ensure optimal performance.
• Conduct troubleshooting on diesel engines and fuel systems, transmissions, and electronic components.
• Maintain accurate service records and repair documentation.
• Identify worn or damaged parts and recommend necessary replacements.
• Operate diagnostic tools and software to assess equipment performance.
• Follow all safety protocols and industry standards during repairs and servicing.
• Communicate with supervisors or equipment operators to determine issues and solutions.
• Provide on-site repairs at job locations when required.

Requirements:

• At least 1 year of experience as a heavy equipment or excavator mechanic.
• Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing hydraulic, electrical, and mechanical systems.
• Strong knowledge of diesel engines and excavator operation.
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift heavy parts and work in a variety of conditions.
• Valid driver’s license (CDL may be required for field service positions).
• Own set of mechanical tools (preferred) and PPE.

Working Conditions:

• Work may be performed in workshop environments or outdoor job sites.
• Exposure to noise, dust, grease, and extreme weather conditions.
• May require overtime, and/or on holidays.

Remuneration package is based on experience and negotiable for the right candidate.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: RM3,500.00 - RM8,000.00 per month
