Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of various events.
- Communicate with clients to gather event requirements, objectives, and expectations.
- Liaise with suppliers, vendors, and service providers for quotations, bookings, and scheduling.
- Coordinate event logistics including venue arrangements, décor, catering, AV, and other support services.
- Prepare event proposals, schedules, briefing documents, and post-event reports.
- Oversee on-site event setup, registration, and operations to ensure smooth execution.
- Manage event inventories, materials, and equipment before, during, and after events.
- Provide on-site support during events, including handling guests, troubleshooting, and ensuring client satisfaction.
- Maintain updated event documentation and assist in budget monitoring.
- Stay up to date with event trends, venues, and industry practices.
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Event Management, Marketing, Mass Communication, or related fields.
- 1-2 years of working experience in event management or related industries preferred.
- Strong organizational, coordination, and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Able to work irregular hours, weekends, or public holidays depending on event schedules.
- Possess a positive attitude, proactive mindset, and willingness to learn.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Own transport is an advantage.
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
