The Event Coordinator is responsible for the planning, 3D layout design, vendor coordination, and on-site execution of events. This role ensures all visual and structural elements are delivered as planned while maintaining timeline, quality, and budget control.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Event Planning
- Liaise with clients to understand the event objectives, theme, and specific requirements.
- Develop execution schedules, checklists, and event timelines to ensure systematic planning and delivery.
2. 3D Layout Design
- Produce detailed floor plans, booth layouts, and stage arrangements using 3Dsoftware such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, or 3ds Max.
- Create 3D visualizations of the entire event space, including lighting design, traffic flow, and activity zones.
3. Vendor Coordination & Setup
- Communicate with contractors, AV vendors, interior designers, and other suppliers to ensure installation aligns with the approved 3D plans.
- Provide technical briefs and layout documentation to the on-ground technical andsetup teams.
4. Budget Control & Logistics
- Assist in preparing budgets related to design and visual elements.
- Oversee delivery, installation, maintenance during the event, anddismantling/collection post-event.
5. On-Site Execution & Event Day Management
- Act as the main coordinator on event day to ensure smooth execution according tothe layout plan.
- Handle any technical or layout-related issues, including last-minute changes.
6. Post-Event Reporting & Improvement
- Prepare post-event reports including feedback, challenges, and suggestions for future improvements.
- Maintain a design archive and records for future references.
Required Qualifications & Skills:
- Diploma/Degree in Interior Design, Event Management, Architecture, or related fields.
- Must proficient in 3D design software such as SketchUp, AutoCAD, 3ds Max, or equivalent tools.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in event management or spatial/event layout design.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Flexible to work outside regular hours and on weekends during event periods.

Pay: RM3,000.00 - RM4,000.00 per month
