Conducting regular workplace inspections to identify potential hazards (e.g., slip, trip, fall hazards, chemical spills, unsafe equipment, poor ergonomics).
Assist in maintaining and implementing ESH management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
Performing environmental audits to ensure compliance with environmental regulations (e.g., waste disposal, air emissions, water discharge).
Assisting in conducting risk assessments to determine the likelihood and severity of potential incidents.
Assisting in the preparation of permits, reports, and other documentation required by regulatory agencies.
Assist the investigating accidents, incidents, and near misses to determine root causes.
Collecting data, conducting interviews, and preparing detailed incident reports.
Promoting a strong safety culture through regular communication and engagement.
Assisting with chemical and schedule waste management including proper handling, labelling, storage, and disposal.
Assisting in the development and implementation of emergency response plans.
Participating in and coordinating emergency drills.

Requirement

Minimum a Diploma in Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS), Occupational Safety and Health, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related science/engineering field is highly preferred.
Able to work independently and as part of the team
Good observation skills, with attention to detail and strong reporting skills.
Willing to be hands-on and present on the production floor daily.
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Fresh graduates with strong academic performance in ESH-related fields and relevant internship experience might be considered for entry-level technician roles.
