- Ensure compliance with environmental laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., DOE, EIA, ISO 14001).
- Develop, implement, and monitor Environmental Management Plans (EMP).
- Conduct site inspections, environmental monitoring, and audits to identify potential risks.
- Manage waste disposal, water quality, air quality, and noise monitoring activities.
- Prepare and submit environmental reports to regulatory authorities and management.
- Conduct environmental awareness training and toolbox talks for employees and contractors.
- Liaise with government agencies, consultants, and stakeholders on environmental matters.
- Investigate and report environmental incidents, recommending corrective and preventive measures.
- Promote sustainability initiatives such as energy efficiency, recycling, and pollution reduction.
- Maintain proper documentation and records related to environmental compliance.
